Site Plan

Just minutes from the beautiful Northumbrian coast, Longhoughton is the perfect place to raise a family. This small, rural village is on the road
between Alnwick and Craster and dates back to Medieval times. There is a small supermarket and the local church is Saxon in origin. A track leads
from the village down to Sugar Sands Bay, a peaceful, sandy beach with rocky outcrops. Coast walks and bicycle tracks are also nearby.
Longhoughton lies four and a half miles to the south east of Alnwick. The town is famed for its castle, which recently became famous as Hogwarts,
the school for wizardry in the Harry Potter films, and its superb gardens, a treasure trove of horticultural wonders with an incredible cascading
fountain at its centre. Alnwick was also recently voted the best place to live in Britain by Country Life Magazine.
It’s easy to see why. Alnwick has many pubs and restaurants, a wide range of fascinating shops and the Alnwick Playhouse. Here, you can catch live theatre, music, films and more.
There are many excellent walks around the town, along the River Aln and at the nearby Hulne Country Park and Priory.
The area also boasts excellent road and rail links to the rest of north east England and beyond. Ample free parking at nearby Alnmouth Station is
ideal for rail commuting to Newcastle and Edinburgh.
