Mr Britain strong arm’s his way into new home with part exchange
Having enviously watched new residents move into The Ridings development in Middlesbrough over the last few years, a couple have moved into their dream home thanks to McInerney Homes’s Part Exchange incentive.
And, with all the extra space that their four bedroom home has to offer, amateur body builder, Michael Lawrenson, is spoilt for choice when it comes to storing his gym equipment.
The thirty-nine year old weight lifter, who is taking a year out to build more muscle tissue, has competed around the world and was recently named Mr Britain. He explains why this latest conquest is his best yet:
"Me and my fiancée, Kelly, were ready to give up selling our house altogether. It had been on the market for almost a year and we’d had just one viewing. When we heard about Part Exchange we had to snap it up. We wanted to move into The Ridings as quickly as possible, and by the time we had packed up our old house, it was time to move!"
In fact, just two months later that the couple were unloading their belongings into their spacious four bedroom detached Raisebeck home on The Ridings development, which will shortly be completing its current phase.
Part Exchange is a simple "you buy ours and we’ll buy yours" scheme that offers purchasers the benefit of staying in their current home until the new home is ready. It also gives home buyers a chance to step up the property ladder by incorporating the value of their previous home in the sale of their new home.
Christine Douglas, sales manager for McInerney Homes said:
Part Exchange is simple and straightforward scheme and we are delighted that so many buyers across all our developments have taken up the offer. Part Exchangeis available on selected plots to give families a better chance of moving into their dream home.
"Other benefits include avoiding estate agent’s and HIPS fees and advertising costs, reduced stresses and as the sales chain is complete with no upper vendor, the deal on your new home is usually secured much quicker."
A psychiatric nurse, gym instructor as well as amateur body builder, Michael leads a busy life, but says he loves nothing more than to come home to his brand new home. Not only do the nearby local parks offer the opportunity for a short stroll to wind down, but The Ridings is just five minutes away from Michael’s workplace at St Luke’s Hospital.
The development is conveniently located near to Middlesbrough. And, with its proximity to the A19 offering convenient commuting north and south, good rail links along with two international airports, and with Durham Tees Valley and Newcastle Airports serving the region, the development is perfectly placed for commuters who travel further afield.
The Ridings is close to the A1085 Longlands Road and is reached via Hutton Road. The Sales centre, two beautiful showhomes and two view homes are open from Thursday to Monday, 11.00am until 5.00pm, telephone 01642 246836.
