Staff at McInerney Homes were so delighted when they heard that neighbours living in their Grace Development in Bradford were married within weeks of each other, they decided to play cupid and splash out on a gift for the happy couples. Simon and Precious Johnson and Carl and Angela Brian were absolutely stunned when Kelly Rudkin, McInerney’s sales executive at Grace, knocked on their doors and presented them with a voucher for a night’s stay at nearby Oulton Hall. Thirty three year old Precious, was just packing her bags to visit friends and family in Zimbabwe when she received her wedding gift. She said: "It hasn’t sunk in yet! It will be sheer bliss! This is a truly lovely gift and will cheer me up no end when I return from our trip to see my family in Zimbabwe." Not only will the couples be treated to a night’s stay in the 19th century mansion, but they will also be leaving behind their luxury four bedroom homes in the development to be spoilt with a lavish dinner and breakfast, prepared by award winning chefs. McInerney Sales executive Kelly said: "I know only too well the financial struggles which face young couples these days and not least the cost of paying for a wedding. Both couples were married just a few months after moving into the development, so have had a busy time making plans and organising things. "We at McInerney thought that a night’s stay in one of the region’s best hotels would be perfect for the neighbours: a chance to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities on us." The happy couples, who both married this summer, moved into Grace earlier this year. The development, which offers contemporary apartments and family homes, is increasingly popular with young couples and young families partly because it is perfectly placed in the small picturesque village of Thornton, which offers an idyllic rural lifestyle, whilst being only five miles from Bradford city centre. Newlywed Carl Brian said: "It’s been a hectic few months, what with moving and getting married just weeks after. Though, as we part exchanged, the move wasn’t stressful at all and was over in a matter of weeks, which meant we could concentrate fully on the wedding. "This is a perfect end to the summer and a perfect start to our married life." Both the Brians and the Thompsons took advantage of McInerney’s part exchange incentive in order to move into the Grace development. McPX is available on selected plots for those with a property to sell through the simple "You buy ours, we’ll buy yours" scheme. Kelly Rudkin is available on site at the development, Thursday through to Monday 11am until 5pm and can be contacted on 01274 833 981McInerney surprises newlywed neighbours at Grace
